Nancy Hampson

Nancy Hampson, 63, of Emerson, NE, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Legacy Garden Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pender, NE. Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson; Pastor Gretchen Ritola will be officiating. The visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE. Nancy was born December 21, 1953 to Elmer and Violet (Swayze) Wilson in Kearney, NE. She graduated from high school in Hermiston, OR. Nancy married Arthur “Buddy” Hampson and the couple had three children. Nancy was a cook at Prairie Breeze Assisted Living in Pender. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her cats, and being with her family, grandkids, and friends. Nancy is survived by her son, Ricky (Missy) Hampson of Emerson, NE; daughters, Myranda (Tony) Diaz of Santa Fe, TX, Shawna (Bart) Tucker of Yoakum, TX; sisters, Wanda (Donnie) Bell of Freeport, TX, Debbie Findley of Hermiston, OR, Gail (Louie Peterson) of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buddy; and brothers, Gary Wilson and Rick Wilson.
