Pamela J. Meierdierks

Pamela J. Meierdierks, 72, of Pender, NE passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Little White Dog Rescue in LaVista, Nebraska.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Pender. 

Pam was born on May 27, 1952, in Bancroft, NE, the daughter of Harold and Jean (Northrop) Tietz. She graduated from Bancroft High School in 1970. On May 9, 1971, Pam was united in marriage to David Meierdierks in Bancroft. To this union two daughters were born, Melissa and Jaime. She worked most of her adult life with the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services, helping people at need. 

Pam loved animals and adopted more than ten rescue dogs over the last twenty years. She also enjoyed fishing, Southern Gospel Quartets, gardening, canning, all things Nebraska Cornhuskers, and experimenting with and creating new recipes.

Pam is survived by her husband, David Meierdierks of Pender, NE; daughters, Melissa Meierdierks of Phoenix, AZ, Jaime (Shawn) Cook of Ovilla, TX; grandsons, Will and Wes Fragale; sister, Lori Cannon of Wisner, NE; and a brother, Randy (Karen) Tietz of Pender, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jean Tietz, and a brother, Rick Tietz.
