Ricky LaVerle Obermeyer

Ricky LaVerle Obermeyer, 62, of Laurel, NE, passed away on February 15, 2022, at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE. No services are currently scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE. Rick was born on August 21, 1959, to LaVerle and Anne (Bach) Obermeyer in Osmond, NE. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music, visiting, and texting with friends. Rick worked at Michaels Foods and later Heritage Homes. Most recently he worked as an independent contractor in construction. Rick is survived by his special friend Joyce Zila of Wayne, NE; mother, Anna Mae Obermeyer of Wakefield, NE; brothers, Scott Obermeyer of Wakefield, NE, Brian (Kris) Obermeyer of Bennington, NE; Steven (Deb) Obermeyer of Pender, NE; many nieces and nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his father and brother, Gerald Obermeyer.
