Robert Jacobsen

Robert Dean Jacobsen, 85, of Lyons, Nebraska, formerly of Wisner, Nebraska died at his home on Friday, July 5, 2019.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, NE.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Pender is in charge of the service. 

Robert was born on August 2, 1933 in Wisner, NE, the son of John and Anna (Nuernberger) Jacobsen.  He attended school in Wisner and graduated from Wisner High School in 1946.  He was united in marriage to Betty Diers, they later divorced.  He farmed his entire life; first as a dairy farmer near Wisner and in his later years with various other farmers.  He was a 4-H leader with Goldenrod 4-H Club. 

Robert is survived by a son; Jay (Evelyn) Jacobsen of Waverly, NE and their family Ashley (Clint) Allen, and their daughter Jayley and Lacey (Eric) Hoffman and their children Blake and Jessa, son Kip (Jane) Jacobsen of Pender, NE and their family Brandon (Ann) Jacobsen and their family Ty and Wesley, Jesse (Morgan) Jacobsen and their family Peyton, Paisley and Parker, Travis Jacobesen and fiance (Erica) and their children Tyler Marie, Reaghynn and Rhyann, and Cecilee Jacobsen; a daughter Rebecca Jacobsen of Papillion, NE; sisters, Ruth Elaine Bender of Ferguson, MO and Rosemary (Eldon) Lorenzen of Lyons, NE and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eugene and twin brother Russell, sister Margaret Ann Reimers, and an infant son Randy.
