Shane Cadwallader

Shane Martin Cadwallader, 46, of Sioux Falls, SD formerly of Hubbard, NE passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 after a long battle with diabetes. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hubbard, NE; with Father Paul Albenesius celebrating mass. Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with a prayer services starting at 7:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Emerson, NE. Shane was born July 7, 1971 in Pender, NE to Gary and Dixie (Davis) Cadwallader. He graduated from Laurel-Concord High School in 1989 and went into the military. After returning home, he worked on construction and heavy equipment. He worked construction for his father in Hubbard, in Omaha for Anderson and Sioux Falls for Johnson. Shane loved riding horses, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Boss.He is survived by his ex-wife, Amy Heydon of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; sons, Zachary Cadwallader of Long Beach, CA and Chase Cadwallader of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; daughter, Haley Heydon of Omaha, NE; parents, Gary and Dixie Cadwallader of Hubbard, NE; sisters, Sherri (Jimmy) Harmer of Carroll, NE, Hillary (Joe) Sims of Carroll, NE; brothers, Tracy Schultz of Ames, IA and Tommy Schultz of Carroll, NE, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud and Audrey Cadwallader; and grandmother, Emma Lillian Davis.
