Vincent Valenzuela, 36, of Wakefield, Nebraska died on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Louisiana. Funeral services for Vince will be held on April 13, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Wakefield; Pastor Jill Craig will be officiating. The visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the church and will run until the time of the funeral service. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements.
Vince was born in Visalia, California on November 17, 1985, the son of Mario and Delores (Sanchez) Valenzuela. While growing up in Visalia, Vince, loved to play sports, and excelled at everything he did. While in high school Vince met Yesenia Martinez. Together they have three children; Aishah, Anthony and Jordan. In 2012, the family moved to Wakefield, Nebraska, where Vince worked as a welder at Blue Ox Automatic in Pender. On June 27, 2015, Vince and Yesenia were married in California. Vince’s love of sports carried on in Wakefield, where he coached youth softball and basketball. He also loved to play golf and attend his children’s events.
Vince is survived by his wife, Yesenia; sons, Anthony and Jordan; daughter, Aishah; Mother Delores Sanchez; father, Mario Valenzuela; brother, Mario (Brenda) Valenzuela; sisters, Isidra (Ismael) Sotelo, Crystal Valenzuela; half-brothers, Anthony Valenzuela, Jeremiah Valenzuela, Joshua (Janae) Valenzuela, Michael Valenzuela, Mario Valenzuela; half-sisters, Isabel Valenzuela, and Samantha Valenzuela; step-brother, Tahasjion Hawkins; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
