Warren R. Habrock

Warren R. Habrock, 71, of rural Emerson, NE, died following injuries sustained in an accident on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE. A celebration of Warren’s life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Warren was born in Wakefield, NE, on October 19, 1950, the son of Roy and Ardyce (Lutt) Habrock. He attended and graduated from Emerson – Hubbard High School in 1968. He later earned his degree as a Diesel Mechanic. On December 13, 1977, he was united in marriage to Carol Jean Schram in Dakota City. To this union two daughters, Christa and Sara were born. Warren was a lifelong farmer. Warren enjoyed traveling, collecting grandfather and other clocks, Monte Carlos, attending auctions, and attending concerts and the symphony.

He is survived by his daughters, Christa (Justin) Dutcher of Wayne, NE, and Sara (Travis) Gardner of Pierce, NE; grandchildren, Shaylee and Cailynn Gardner, Anna, Kiley and Luke Dutcher; a special friend Debbie Cook of Emerson, NE; sister, Adell Duncan of Norfolk, NE; brother, E.J. (Sandra) Habrock of Madison, NE; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ardyce; wife, Carol; son-in-law, Travis Gardner; and brother-in-law, Jim Duncan.
