Wayne J. Kramer

Wayne John Kramer, 75, of Wayne, Nebraska died on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home.  A prayer service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.  The visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Wayne was born on January 21, 1943 in Wakefield, NE, the son of William and Evelyn (Buhl) Kramer.  He attended school in Wayne, but graduated from Wakefield High School in 1960.  On June 22, 1963, Wayne was united in marriage to Mary Barnes at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartington, NE.  To this union four sons were born; Kenneth, Jerry, Randy and Kevin.  He farmed south of Wayne until his retirement.  Wayne enjoyed fishing, camping and going to his sons and grandchildren’s sporting events.  Wayne is survived by his wife Mary of Wayne, NE; sons, Kenneth (Jana) Kramer of Norfolk, NE, Jerry (Wendy) Kramer of Norfolk, NE, Randy (Leigh Ann) Kramer of Omaha, NE, Kevin (Jennifer) Kramer of Gretna, NE; sister Connie (Jim) Granquist of Wayne, NE and brothers; Bill (Lynn) Kramer of Wayne, NE and Ron (Cecelia) Kramer of Wayne, NE and a sister-in-law Fern Kramer of Thurston, NE.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Mikaya Kramer, Zachary (Shenia) Kramer, Taylor Kramer, Amanda Kramer, Shayla Kramer, Paige Kramer, Kaleb Kramer, Conner Roach, Mariah Beaver; three great grandchildren, Emma Kramer, Elliott Nathan and Arieana Lucero. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Larry Kramer.
