Wilma F. Pallas

Wilma F. Pallas, 87, of Emerson, NE, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Heritage of Emerson Nursing Home in Emerson, NE. The visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Emerson.

Wilma was born on March 24, 1937, to William and Edna (Haase) Stolze in Rural Dakota County, NE. On February 24, 1957, Wilma married Milton Pallas at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson. Wilma was a member of the Red Hats, the Neighborhood Club, St. Paul’s WELCA, and sewing group. She served on St. Paul’s Church Council. Wilma farmed with Milton for many years. She loved gardening, flowers, and playing cards. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, knitting, canning and baking. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Clayton of Onawa, IA, Joyce (Michael) Sebade of Emerson, NE, Janeen (Denis) Lueders of Sioux Falls, SD, and Nancy McQuistan of Vermillion, SD; nine grandchildren, Samantha Clayton, Jeremey (Amanda) Sebade, Nicholas (Sophia) Sebade, Melissa (Phil) Hampson, BreAnn (Chad) Smith, Grant (Erica) Lueders, Austin (Nick) McQuistan, Nolan McQuistan, Katelin McQuistan; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Stolze of Norfolk, NE; sister-in-law, Elda Stolze of Pawnee City, NE; and many special nieces and nephews.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton; son-in-law, Barry Clayton, brother, Russell Stolze; sisters-in-law, Loretta Stolze, Lauretta Pallas, Mary Ann Oetken, Helen Oetken, Mildred Oetken, Jean Messerschmidt; brothers-in-law, Joe Pallas, Jerry Pallas, Herman Oetken, Wayne Oetken, Arthur Oetken; and nephew, Ronald Pallas.
